Combine online learning with in-person clinical hours for a fast-track path to certification.
All training complies with New Jersey Board of Nursing standards and includes exam preparation and application support.
Program Requirements
To become a Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) in New Jersey, students must:
Complete 76 total training hours
60 hours of classroom instruction (online or in-person)
16 hours of hands-on clinical training
Be 18 years or older
Be a U.S. citizen or authorized to work in the U.S.
Pass a criminal background check
Maintain mandatory attendance
Pass the New Jersey Board of Nursing CHHA Exam
Be employed by or have a job offer from a licensed home care agency
