This program teaches networking concepts using a top-down, theoretical and integrated approach from network applications by the lower layers of the network. The program emphasizes areas of the network consisting of Internet Working (Basics), managing a Cisco Internetwork, IP Routing, Virtual LANs, wide-area Networks, and other major networking topics in the industry.

• Managing a Cisco Internetwork: Manage Cisco IOS configuration files
• IP Routing, EIGRP, OSPF, and Internet Protocol Version 6
• Layer 2 Switching and STP
• Virtual LANs Configure, Verify, and Troubleshoot a Switch with VLANs and Interswitch communications
• Security Identify security threats to a network and describe general methods to mitigate those threats
• Network Address Translation- Implement, verify and troubleshoot NAT and ACLs in a medium-size Internetwork
• Cisco’s Wireless Technologies-Explain and select the appropriate administrative tasks required for a WLAN
• Internet Protocol Version 6
• Wide-Area Networks- This section will contain a detailed understanding of WAN connectivity technologies.
